Children's Film Festival

Pre-Covid-19, Nenagh Arts Centre had a Children’s Film Festival scheduled for the Summer. Come Spring, the Covid situation worsened with restrictions and lock-downs occurring. So rather than postpone the festival until next year, Nenagh Arts Centre decided to host the event online. And with social restrictions and lock-down obstacles in place, they needed a digital brochure which could be shared easily to people online.

Because online brochures are on screen, they can seem a bit flat in comparison to the printed versions you can physically hold and interact with. So with this obstacle in mind I designed the brochure to be dynamic in it’s content. Each page is exploding with different elements, with content relevant to the subject matter. Each page positioning is different, guiding viewers eye directions to change per page. Creating this dynamic/feeling of movement.

This event was a 3 day festival which included such media as: feature film, short film, animation and student screenings, as well workshops for young people.
