Nenagh Arts Centre

I had the pleasure to work with the Nenagh Arts Centre on their Spring/Summer 2020 Event programme.

With the main target market spanning from young to old, we needed the brochure to be clear, clean and concise, whilst also having the text to be of a big yet comfortable legibility. The brochure was also A5 in size, so we were limited with the amount of pages and space we could work with. And with an abundance of visual and text information needing to be inserted, the user experience and ease of use couldn’t be inhibited in any way. To achieve this comfort and readability I had to plan and measure each page along with it’s elements strategically. Giving the illusion of greater breathing space whilst also being aesthetically pleasing.

With the cover, I wanted to showcase and tease highlights of upcoming events in an interesting yet meaningful way for the brand. Inspired by the iconic Nenagh Castle, I used it’s shapes and elements to create a stone masonry style collage of images of featured events.
