Spleodar Halloween Arts Festival

The Spleodar Halloween Arts Festival is a fun family aimed festival full of in-person and online events. Including workshops, films, ghost stories, firework displays and more! The festival is highly anticipated by all each year.

This is the 3rd year we have had the pleasure to work with the Nenagh Arts Centre on this festival.

Each year there is a fun and exciting theme created for the festival. And we use this as the inspiration and foundation for all of our designs and illustrations.

Inspired by the beautiful Seamus Heany poem, ‘The Railway Children’.
We based this years theme around the limitless imagination of a child.
For the artwork we illustrated a magical Spleodar wonderland, full of similes of how children can see the world around them.

Taking inspiration from artists such as Salvador Dali, Igor Morski. We kept the visual artwork dream like and surreal, and created a magical universe of day vs night, light vs dark.
